Cities do have the opportunity to be starting point to reverse climate change. While creating greener cities they will be healthier and more pleasant places to live in. It takes action to create new parks and gardens and protect green surfaces in the city. We need to use every single piece of urban surface like city roofs, walls, barriers, voids and courtyards to create green corridors to connect parks and multiply the number of green buildings in cities. This session will discuss the value of urban forests, contributions to urban biodiversity and the actual costs to fund urban ecosystems.
