Making Green Work: Almere Pampus and The Grasbrook Hamburg
The new Almere Pampus district will accommodate no fewer than 25,000 to 35,000 homes and 16,000 jobs. The realization of Almere Pampus is implemented based on the Werkagenda Pampus (2021-2024) and is working on frameworks, strategy and cooperation for the development of Almere Pampus as an integral and nature-inclusive area development. Similar to Pampus the Hamburg Stadt Innovation Project 'The Grasbrook' is targetting 3,000 apartments for rent and ownership, for cooperatives and joint building ventures and around 16,000 jobs The Grasbrook will be developed with spacious green spaces, following diverse innovation strategies that are being pursued at the levels of urban structure, sustainable building development, mobility and social development.
